What happens when you visit this website
This website provides information about GoldPoints. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. We serve fonts and images ourselves; no third-party content is loaded. The language selection of the sample message and the cost calculator run only in your browser; nothing you set there is sent to us.
If you choose a language for the website or dismiss the note about another language version, your browser remembers this choice in its local storage (localStorage) so the note doesn't appear again. This stays on your device, is not sent to us and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings. It is strictly necessary for the function you requested (Section 25(2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG).
Server logs
When you access goldpoints.de, our web server stores technical data for operation and to fend off attacks: IP address, time, requested address, response code, amount of data transferred, referring page and browser identifier. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are rotated daily; at most 14 archive files are kept, which usually means about 14 days.
On to the app
The “Sign up” and “Log in” buttons lead to the app at app.goldpoints.de. Data for an account is only processed there. The app's privacy policy describes what happens.
Contact by email
If you write to info@jagubjan.de, we process your address and the content in order to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for questions about a contract with us, otherwise point (f)). The mailbox is on our own mail server on the same server in Helsinki. Incoming emails are checked automatically for spam and malware, and the mail server logs every delivery (sender, recipient, time, IP addresses of the servers involved). These logs are deleted after 90 days at the latest, your message once the enquiry is settled and no retention obligation applies.
Emails are contained in backups for about two months (14 daily and 8 weekly versions). In addition, an encrypted copy is regularly transferred to a computer in Germany, where emails remain for up to about 44 days. We use backups only for restoring data.
Recipients
- Technical support: An IT service provider runs the website and server on our behalf (processing on behalf pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR; a corresponding agreement is in place).
- Hosting: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The website is hosted on a server in a Hetzner data centre in Helsinki (Finland, EU). Hetzner processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).
We do not sell any data.
Encryption
This website is delivered only in encrypted form via HTTPS.
Your rights
Access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21). A message to info@jagubjan.de is all it takes.
